el serm\u00f3n que Casey pronunci\u00f3 el mi\u00e9rcoles pasado. Predic\u00f3 unas palabras muy poderosas en la festividad de Santa Febe que nos hicieron comprender a todos por qu\u00e9 es tan importante hablar de Santa Febe y de las mujeres di\u00e1conas\u00a0<em>ahora mismo<\/em>en\u00a0<em>tiempos como estos.<\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ab42266 class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>\u00bfEstamos dispuestos, como San Pablo y Santa Febe, a compartir nuestras dificultades, a ofrecer una hospitalidad generosa, a arriesgar nuestros cuellos por los dem\u00e1s y por el Evangelio?<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-625df91 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"625df91\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Casey nos pint\u00f3 un v\u00edvido retrato de nuestro mundo caracterizado por \u201cfamilias destrozadas por la detenci\u00f3n y la deportaci\u00f3n\u201d, por \u201cj\u00f3venes que se ven tentados a caer en la desesperaci\u00f3n y la impotencia al enfrentarse a la enormidad de un mundo de violencia que puede parecer interminable\u201d, por el sufrimiento de nuestros hermanos y hermanas de la parroquia de la Anunciaci\u00f3n: \u201clas vastas ondas de dolor y la solidaridad que compartimos en su sufrimiento\u201d.<\/p><p>Y, teniendo en cuenta todo eso, nos pregunt\u00f3:<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-0e7bbeb elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"0e7bbeb\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>\u00bfC\u00f3mo se nos pide que seamos di\u00e1conos, sin miedo a responder a tal realidad?<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d830b39 elementor-widget class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Creo que Phoebe habr\u00eda hecho lo mismo, porque eso es lo esencial de lo que significa ser di\u00e1cono: empoderar a otros para que respondan a su llamado bautismal a la diacon\u00eda.<\/p><p><strong>La festividad de Santa Febe es una oportunidad para que cada uno de nosotros reflexionemos sobre c\u00f3mo estamos llamados a ser el rostro de Cristo, que no vino a ser servido, sino a servir<\/strong>, a proclamar con nuestras vidas de servicio \"que la muerte no tiene la \u00faltima palabra\", a \"asegurar que cada persona sea conocida por su nombre y pertenezca\", a \"profesar que la comuni\u00f3n es m\u00e1s fuerte que la divisi\u00f3n y que la misi\u00f3n de Cristo, el sue\u00f1o del Reino de Dios, puede sostenernos a todos m\u00e1s all\u00e1 del miedo\".<\/p><p>En este \u201cmes de Santa Febe\u201d de septiembre, en todo Estados Unidos y m\u00e1s all\u00e1, ustedes, nuestra comunidad de Discerning Deacons, est\u00e1n despertando en las personas esta visi\u00f3n prof\u00e9tica y sinodal de un diaconado que incluye a las mujeres y se acerca a los
