(Hechos 6, 15)<\/span><\/i><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Feliz Navidad de parte de Discerning Deacons<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">y bendiciones en esta <\/span><b>fiesta de San Esteban<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, a quien <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/churchlifejournal.nd.edu\/articles\/auden-on-the-feast-of-st-stephen\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">la tradici\u00f3n honra<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> como di\u00e1cono y primer m\u00e1rtir.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En este segundo d\u00eda de Navidad, la Iglesia cat\u00f3lica pasa de la alegr\u00eda de la Natividad a la llamada de la misi\u00f3n y la proclamaci\u00f3n del Evangelio, a veces con gran sacrificio.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En nuestro continuo estudio y aprendizaje sobre el ministerio de los di\u00e1conos en la vida y la misi\u00f3n de la Iglesia, nos encontramos con <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/billditewig.blog\/2014\/03\/28\/deacons-as-angels-angels-as-deacons\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">esta joya del di\u00e1cono Bill Ditewig,<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> que explora la dimensi\u00f3n ang\u00e9lica que se manifiesta en la vida encarnada del di\u00e1cono.<\/span><\/p><p><b>Hoy parece un d\u00eda adecuado para llamar su atenci\u00f3n sobre esta posibilidad ang\u00e9lica: los di\u00e1conos como aquellos que se encuentran en el umbral, en los lugares liminales.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> En esta Navidad, cuando Jes\u00fas es colocado de nuevo en nuestros pesebres y aparece fr\u00e1gil, recordamos c\u00f3mo aquellos que le siguen comparten su destino, para proclamar un mundo nuevo, acogido por lo sagrado, incluso cuando los poderes que traen la muerte o no lo comprenden tratan de extinguir esa vida.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Los di\u00e1conos ayudan a mediar entre este mundo y el siguiente. Son fieles a la llamada que, junto con toda la multitud celestial, alabamos: \"Gloria a Dios en las alturas y paz en la tierra\".\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><b>No se nos escapa que la Iglesia proclama la alegr\u00eda del nacimiento de Jes\u00fas el 25 de diciembre y, luego, el 26 de diciembre, nos env\u00eda a vivir esa alegr\u00eda en el servicio encarnado.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Damos gracias a los di\u00e1conos cat\u00f3licos ordenados por su fiel ministerio.
