The following set of homily helps were created collaboratively by members of the Association of US Catholic Priests in conversation with lay men and women. They are meant to be a tool for homilists and others breaking open the Word in both Eucharistic and non-Eucharistic settings during St. Phoebe’s month in September 2024. Each week’s homily help has a different author or group of authors and reflects the particular style of that person or community. They are not intended to be prescriptive but rather to offer jumping off points for your own reflection on the week’s Scriptures and their intersection with themes at the heart of St. Phoebe Day, such as service and diakonia, women’s leadership in the Church, and synodality.
