House Meeting Campaign Launch Call – Daytime
Discerning Deacons is growing the discernment about the diaconate during the Synod’s Implementation Phase!
Help us reach 10,000 people in synodal consultations in 2026 by hosting a “house meeting”—a gathering of 8-12 people, in-person or online, that includes prayer, education, and structured conversation and culminates with an opportunity for participants to contribute the fruits of your discernment to our Church.
What you can expect on this call:
- Learn the basics of hosting a house meeting
- Walk away with your house meeting host toolbox—complete with new revisions based on feedback from hosts in the pilot phase
- Connect with others across the U.S. and beyond who are interested in growing the discernment about the diaconate
- A gathering grounded in prayer and rooted in ongoing ecclesial processes
- If you hosted a house meeting during the 2025 pilot phrase, come get up to speed on the revised toolkit—and bring a friend or 5!
This event will be offered on Tuesday, January 27 from 1-2 p.m. ET/10-11 a.m. PT and on Thursday, January 29 from 8-9 p.m. ET/5-6 p.m. PT. Register for either call at the link below.
