“I dream of a world where girls and women sitting in pews around the world can feel empowered to follow the Holy Spirit’s call wherever it takes them, including the diaconate. It’s past time for the Church to publicly recognize women’s gifts and empower them to be used for the common good. The Church would reach so many more girls and women who don’t feel comfortable opening up to or even being alone with men because of past trauma. Imagine the healing and love the Church could bring to a broken world with thousands more deacons serving across the globe!”
