Desde 2020, cada mes de septiembre, Discerning Deacons celebra la fiesta de Santa Febe, la diácona, animando a comunidades de todo el mundo a rezar y celebrar en su honor.
Más de 200 parroquias católicas, escuelas, órdenes religiosas y otras organizaciones han acogido reuniones locales para celebrar el Día de Santa Febe en 67 diócesis, nueve países y cuatro continentes, llegando a decenas de miles de personas con la buena nueva de Santa Febe.
Juntos guiamos a nuestras comunidades de fe para..
- Celebrar a Santa Febe en el día de su conmemoración (o en una fecha cercana) del 3 de septiembre
- Oren por la Iglesia universal durante el Sínodo Global y su implementación, mientras discernimos sobre la participación de las mujeres.
- Celebrar las voces y los dones de las mujeres líderes de nuestras comunidades.
- Ofrecer a nuestras comunidades la oportunidad de crecer en la comprensión y el ejercicio de su vocación bautismal a la diaconía: tender puentes, servir con humildad en la liturgia, la Palabra y la acción social, especialmente con los marginados.
Nos reuniremos virtualmente el 3 de septiembre y animaremos a las comunidades católicas a organizar oraciones y celebraciones locales en honor a Santa Febe durante todo el mes de septiembre.

God of Vision,
You see beyond our horizons and enlarge our tents.
You draw us into communion, participation and mission.
Inspired by St. Phoebe, our Deacon forebear in faith,
may we hear the cries of those who suffer,
discern our response with the Holy Spirit,
and reach out in ministry
to share the Good News with all creation.
May we proclaim your Reign,
in which all are kin,
welcomed with healing and hope.
May our Church lead and serve
in the spirit of Jesus,
who raised up those bowed down.
God of Vision,
light our way that all might shine.
