September 3, 2026 – Join us as we celebrate the Feast of St. Phoebe—deacon, leader, and witness to the Gospel—with prayer, storytelling, and hope for a more synodal Church.
🌍 8:00 a.m. ET / 5:00 a.m. PT | International Prayer Service
Begin the day in prayer with Catholics from around the world. Together we will celebrate the diaconal vocation of women, pray for a Church that walks together in mission, and ask the Holy Spirit to continue opening pathways of peace, participation, and co-responsibility.
✨ 8:00 p.m. ET / 5:00 p.m. PT | St. Phoebe Day Celebration with Discerning Deacons
Gather with our community for an evening of prayer, inspiration, and celebration. Together we will reflect on enduring partnerships in mission—from St. Phoebe and St. Paul, St. Olympias and St. John Chrysostom, and St. Clare and St. Francis—to the women and men embodying co-responsibility in the Church today.
In addition to attending Discerning Deacons’ St. Phoebe Day Celebration as an individual, organizations can sign on as Participating Organizations. To learn more about bringing your organization along as a Participating Organization, click “Register an Organization” below.
As we honor St. Phoebe’s witness, we will pray for the grace to bridge the divides that keep us from fully co-laboring in the Gospel and entrust ourselves to the Holy Spirit, who continues to guide the Church toward deeper communion, participation, and mission.
Both events will offer simultaneous English-Spanish interpretation.
Everyone is warmly welcome. Come for one gathering or celebrate with us throughout the day!
St. Phoebe Day marks the beginning of our fall season of synodal participation—a time to pray, gather, and discern together how the Holy Spirit is calling the Church forward. Click here to learn more about getting involved throughout St. Phoebe Fall.
