March All-Call Training

Come to equip yourself and your local teams to grow the discernment this year.

We the Church are in synod, and women’s ordination to the permanent diaconate is on the agenda! In the months between last October’s and this October’s gatherings of the Synod of Bishops, the Vatican has invited the entire People of God to continue to participate in the synod by growing in our practices of synodality and engaging in discernment around the themes and proposals outlined in the October 2023 synthesis report—which include questions regarding the renewal of the permanent diaconate and women’s inclusion within it.

Whether you are just beginning your journey with Discerning Deacons or have been on the path with us for some time, this call is essential for everyone who wants to walk with Discerning Deacons in the months ahead as we seek to prayerfully and faithfully grow the conversation about the question of women deacons and to serve the synod’s discernment about it.

This training is offered twice to accommodate as many schedules as possible, on Sunday, March 10 from 5-7 p.m. ET and Monday, March 18 from 2-4 p.m. ET.
