PRESENTED BY: DISCERNING DEACONS

Sr. Donna Ciangio, O.P., Chancellor of the Archdiocese of Newark and renowned pastoral leader offered an accessible and fun presentation to help share the good news about all the women who played vital roles in ministry and mission throughout our Church’s history.

Sr. Donna brings decades of experience in parish vitality, faith formation, and spiritual renewal, and she played a key role in guiding Newark’s engagement in the Global Synod on Participation, Communion, and Mission.

Sr. Donna is passionate about St. Phoebe and the role of women in the early Church. Through presentations nationwide, she has illuminated the rich history of women disciples, leaders, and preachers, helping to ground today’s conversations about women’s participation in the Church.
